Friends and Family
Erinestra transferred her tribal allegiance to the Sambari, and Fionn to the Culbrea.
Baroness Ivarenna gave birth to a healthy boy and named him Valerian Ivarennason.
Titles
King Argrath decided to grant the following the title of baron: General Senrenne (Ar), Lt Warlord Harold, Lt Warlord Torben, and Ten-thane Vadarm Broilson (Cu). They will receive their titles at the Royal Autumn Feast in Dunstop, week 3.
Money Matters
Erinestra sold her boutique. Rumour had she was looking a new location.
Ararg and Grumbold settled debts with the moneylenders.
Drighten Erik and Ivarenna engaged in conspicuous consumption.
Erik became a regular at The Storm Cloud and Ivarenna at The Three Suns.
Appointments
Due to administrative errors the appointments for the vacant posts as brigadiers were not listed, but vacant posts are always up for grabs.
Bvt Warchief Quatlu was appointed Brigadier of the Guards Brigade. He immediately appointed Hundred-thane Julian his Brigade-thane.
Lt Warlord Torben was appointed Aide to Lord Hendrin Dangdlaison of the Balmyr tribe, and Ten-thane Ararg was appointed Aide to Chieftess Duva Yeynnsdaughter of the Dazoori clan of the Balkoth tribe.
Cult Ranks and Resignations
With backing from City Ring Member Gahyakt, Drighten Erik convinced Yorkalen Eriniasdaughter, god-talker of Orlanth, to resign. She had been seen wearing one of the trinkets that her fellow Malani tribesman, Broar, was selling as protection against death. Her excuses ("Well, it might have worked") did her little credit.
Baroness Ivarenna was unable to convince Oisstar Rastkalaktson, god-talker of Orlanth, to resign due to hazia addiction (“I didn’t inhale”), despite backing from the office of the City Treasurer.
Baroness Ivarenna also wanted Saral Fartipson, assistant priest of Orlanth, to resign in order to care for his elderly family members. Her Balmyr connections convinced Saral to return home.
Donning her fake beard, Erinestra initiated into the cult of Lhankor Mhy. Rune Lord Erik promoted Torben and Harold to god-talkers of Orlanth.
In close competition with Ivarenna, Erik was promoted to assistant priest of Orlanth.

Re: 1632 - 07 (Early Earth) - Turn Report
Week1
Brystan and Fionn spent the week training their weapon skills. Garoor participated in a ceremony at the Storm Bull temple. Baroness Ivarenna showed conspicuous piety at an Ernalda ceremony. Torben participated in a ceremony at the Lhankor Mhy library.
Erinestra moved her business into a warehouse sized location.
Drighten Erik brought Yealla to the temple of Orlanth where he led a ceremony, showing conspicuous piety. Among the participants who also showed conspicuous piety were lay member Ararg who apparently was praised in a sermon.
Pre-Wedding Party
Beneath the pale-blue banners of Orlanth fluttering in the twilight wind, The Three Suns inn blazed with firelight and festivity. There was laughter and the heady scent of spiced mead.
Brigadier Warchief Quatlu stood at the heart of it all, stouting a rather impressive beard. Tonight he bore no armor, only the golden torcs and shell-inlaid badges of his rank. His eyes rarely left Darra, his bride-to-be, who wore a dress of white wool dyed with blue woad and stitched with feathers.
Darra moved among the gathered with grace. Her laughter rang like chimes in the breeze.
Warchief Afur shared a goblet of clearwine with his lover Sod. Near the hearth, Lt. Warlord Grumbold reclined on an oaken bench, his arm about Oneldna. Harold conversed quietly with Yeoth. Brigade-thane Julian toasted Quatlu from afar while Harmeleenrios whispered riddles into his ear.
Baron Rufus stood near the open terrace with Daraea. Her laughter was touched by joy and strong drink.
Near the entrance the ceremonial honor guard stood silent and resolute. Four of Julian’s finest: handpicked warriors bearing cloaks dyed in the deep blue of Orlanth’s storm winds and embossed bronze greaves. They bore bronze-bladed spears capped with feathers, shields marked with the runes of Air and Motion, and crested helms that gleamed under firelight. Each had sworn oaths before the wind-shrines and fasted for three days to ensure no shadowed spirit could breach their resolve.
They kept careful watch, barring entry to the uninvited and eyeing every reveler with the gaze of falcons.
At the far end of the hall, Anan Jarinason, Chief Priest of Orlanth, stood beneath a painted cloth canopy representing the Sky Dome. His face was lined with storm-years, and he leaned on a staff. He spoke little, but when he did, even the musicians quieted. For when he raised his hands, the winds stirred inside the hall, and those attuned to Air felt the breath of Orlanth himself coil like a whisper through the rafters.
As night deepened and stars glittered over the stone-carved city, the dancing began. Wild and exuberant, the steps of warriors echoing through the floorboards, a storm of joy before the solemn rites of marriage. The gods, it was said, smiled upon the revel.

Week 3
Brystan spent the week carousing at the Red Beaver. Erinestra brought Arng to the market and participated in an Issaries ceremony, toadying to the high priestess. Baroness Ivarenna studied the Harmony Rune at the temple of Ernalda.
Royal Feast
The nobility of Boldhome was escorted to Dunstop in Tarsh by the officers of the Sartar military. Among those were Afur with Sod, Drighten Erik with Yealla, Fionn, Grumbold (who left the pregnant Oneldna at home), Harold with Yeoth, Julian, Quatlu with Darra, Baron Rufus with Daraea, and Torben. Ararg and Garoor presented their new lovers for the first time; Morshi and Sorayr. Baroness Ivarenna did not attend as she was caring for her newborn.
As the festivities progressed, regimental hostilities between the Warlord Garoor of the Thieves’ Arm and the Free Philosophers Warchief Fionn and Lt Warlord Torben led to duels.
Likewise, the noble Ararg grew increasingly irritated with the attention given to the commoners Quatlu and Grumbold, and only duels could satisfy his pride.
Duel Between Garoor and Fionn
The first duel was between the larger Garoor and the more skilled and powerful Fionn, both armed with broadswords. Fionn draws first blood, inflicting a deep but non-crippling wound on Garoor. Twice. At this point Garoor counter-attacked, but Fionn riposted and landed a definite hit that made Garoor surrender.
Being wounded, Garoor declined to duel Torben.
Duel Between Ararg and Quatlu
The second duel was between the more skilled Ararg against the stronger Quatlu. Ararg drew first blood, leaving Quatlu off-balance. Ararg followed up with a strong hit inflicting a deep but non-crippling wound on Quatlu. Quatlu regained his posture and blocked Ararg’s next attack, putting him in a disadvantageous position. Quatlu exploited the situation and landed a definite hit. Now it was Ararg who managed to block, putting Quatlu in a disadvantageous position, but the result was a stand-off with both duelists maneuvering for position. Quatlu riposted Ararg’s next attack, but then Ararg again managed to block. The two circled around, looking for any opportunity, until Ararg landed a hit putting Quatlu off-balance. Ararg was unable to follow up, as Quatlu blocked again, leading to a new stand-off. When Ararg finally attacked, Quatlu riposted. Again, the two were locked in a series of blocked attacks, until Quatlu landed a definite hit that made Ararg surrender.
As Garoor, Ararg declined his next duel (with Grumbold), being wounded.
Titles
After the spectacle of the duels, King Argrath bestows titles on those he has judged worthy; Fionn, Harold and Torben are all given the title of baron.
Romance?
As the feast roared on, horns lifted, music echoing off the high stone walls of the Dunstop citadel, a hush suddenly rippled across the hall. Drighten Erik, noble in gleaming bronze and crimson-trimmed cloak from Grumbold’s Silk & Sapphires, rose from his place near the high table. His voice, steady but intense, cut through the clamor as he stepped toward Yealla, her eyes already glistening with cautious anticipation.
With a flourish, Erik knelt before her. It was a bold gesture, rare even in these celebratory times, and held aloft a ring: a delicate band of gold, cradling two sapphires that shimmered like twin fragments of a clear summer sky. The hall held its breath.
“Yealla,” he said, his voice trembling now, “your eyes lit my path through fire and frost. Will you bind your fate with mine?”
But silence was her answer for a heartbeat too long. Then Yealla rose sharply, eyes brimming, breath shallow.
“You ask me now?” she cried, her voice cracking. “After all that’s happened?”
She shoved her chair back with a screech of wood on stone. The sapphires caught the light one last time before she turned from him, tears tracing down her cheeks. Gasps and murmurs swelled like a wave as she ran down the length of the feast hall.
“This is over!” she sobbed, voice echoing off the vaults, before vanishing beyond the arched doors, the great shadows of the citadel swallowing her.
Drighten Erik remained kneeling for a moment longer, then rose with quiet dignity, slipping the ring back into its pouch without a trace of bitterness. Though eyes across the hall lingered on him, he met them with calm resolve. To some, his proposal had ended in heartbreak — but Erik’s expression held no shame. He merely inclined his head, murmuring to those nearest.
Then he returned to his seat, his gaze steady, undeterred by whispers.

Re: 1632 - 07 (Early Earth) - Turn Report
Week 4
Grumbold tended to his shop and Fionn continued his cult studies.
Erinestra joined the Free Philosophers and bought the rank of hundred-thane (and the required horses).
The training grounds of the barracks and temples were alive with the clash of bronze. Warriors, both young and seasoned, honed their skills with swords, spears, and battle axes. Ararg. Brystan, Garoor, and Quatlu all spent the week there.
Baroness Ivarenna led a ceremony at the temple of Orlanth, praising Torben (who participated in the ceremony). Afur with Sod, Julian (who was dragged there from weapon training at the barracks), and Barons Harold and Rufus also participated.
