Busy times at the boutique

My dear friends and valued customers,

With the whirlwind of social events on the calendar this month thanks to the delightful wedding of Quatlu and Dealla and the Royal Autumn Feast in Dunstop plus the increasing volume of military affairs due to my advancing rank, I request that anyone requiring my personal attention in the boutique make it known as early as possible so that we can schedule an appointment time that suits us both.

I have laid in stock of a wide range of cloths and colours suitable for the season's autumnal feast, a range of bright hues for celebrating this season's high status wedding and more somber ones for those attending funerals of our brave fallen.

I shall certainly be calling on you this month. There is a need for new season clothes, robes for the Temple ceremonies, new outfits for the Royal Feast and of course wedding gifts to be purchased. Whilst, unlike Yealla, I am not a great fan of shopping, I can see that I shall be spending quite some time in your fine shop.

Dear Grumbold,

I would certainly like to so so. As well as an outfit for myself and Silast for the wedding I also need to prepare for the new arrival. Initially I would be interested in an upmarket set of swaddling clothes for the infant. I am anticipating the birth to occur preturn but one can never be quite sure about timing. I have also decided not to consult the oracles over the baby's sex.

My dear Ivarenna,

I will be delighted to accommodate your requests and I have already noted down the wedding gift to make arrangements for it. You must come into the boutique this afternoon when Oneldna will be here. I can spend time with you choosing outfits and then leave the two of you to discuss babies and birthing. Naturally she has been taking a keen interest in all the things a babe will need in its first months and in my absence on campaign has obtained a wide range of samples to choose from. She will do a far better job of helping you decide what you prefer than I possibly could. Naturally while doing her best to persuade you to let her come straight round to your house in the upper quarter to congratulate you and see the child before you've barely had a chance to recover from the delivery.
