King Argrath will consider giving Baron Rufus the title of drighten.

During Sacred Time all weekly orders must be cult duties. No regiments, not even the frontier regiments, will be at the front. All pre-Turn actions are allowed (but volunteering for the front will not have any effect).

Ordering concon and designating a shop are pre-Turn orders, so allowed. Shop income, costs and CPs are not affected. Sacrifices can be in many forms.

Tending to your shop can only be ordered as a cult duty.

All cult members may practise their Power for free during Sacred Time.

All inns are closed.

The costs for support and conspicuous consumption are in place (sacrifices can be expensive) - extra spending is made at the temples.

Courting is not allowed, but the Temple of Uleria welcomes worshipers.

Everyone must participate in at least one cult ceremony or heroquest.

Announcement: Rune Lord Quatlu Carasilson of the Great Temple of Orlanth announces his intention to undertake the Hero Quest known as “The Arming of Orlanth” during the coming Sacred Season. Announcement: Quatlu Carasilson will apply for appointment to the vacant position of Assistant Priest in the Great Temple of Orlanth. Quatlu has been a devoted worshipper and has ultimately risen to his current post of Wind Lord since coming to Boldhome almost two years ago, and he has never once asked to be excused from temple duties. Orlanth has blessed him with a promotion to Warlord with the Royal Foot Guards and to serve as a Wind Lord, so he wishes to continue to rise in the Temple Hierarchy in the Great Temple of Orlanth.

Tarkala's Spring Feast

In the first week of Early Sea Season (1631 - 2) (not this turn), Tarkala the Lover holds her Love Feast at Sartar's Palace.

Those who can normally attend court are welcome, but have received no personal invitation. Tarkala has sent personal invitations to all lovers lovers.

All invited and all titled characters are obliged to attend if in Boldhome. Failure to attend will cost their CHA in CPs. Additionally, there is a 1 in 6 risk it will end any appointment they may have.

NPC lovers will be happy to invite their current lover. PCs may invite anyone they choose.

New Court attire will be required, costing 2xCHA in Lunars with a minimum of 20 Lunars (wealthy lovers will provide their own, but will not furnish same for their PC lover. Other lovers will expect their PC lover to provide for them).

Carousing is mandatory and will be covered by the hostess. Partying Wild is possible, and will also be covered by the hostess.

Attendees will get 1CP for attending Court, 1 CP for attending the Feast, 1 CP for carousing (and possible 1 CP for Partying Wild) and (half the difference between the CHA level of the Sartar's Palace (25) and their own CHA) CPs.

Attendees of CHA 10+ will, in addition, get CPs equaling one third of the difference between their CHA and that of Tarkala (25).

All attendees have a chance to be noticed by Tarkala.

I am a mere Groom, albeit for the also Great Lord Erik, and I would like to join your Hero Quest....you may recall I was the first to step forward and volunteer when you originally mentioned the matter.

Now, what can a mere Groom bring to the Team I may hear you ask, and one that is part of the Dungshuvler family from Balmyr? Well, Great Lord, allow me to explain! You see a determined team needs it's focus & strength and one way to ensure the team are all healthy and raring to go is to feed them well, which is where I come in because I'm fairly adept at the old camp cooking lark PLUS what goes in, must come out, so to speak, and there I am again.....vastly experienced in the camp latrines and the whole lavvy building / emptying business...we Dungshuvlers are the best in Balmyr!

I admit I may be a bit inexperienced when it comes to the fighting side of the Hero Questing BUT with the likes of great heroes such as yourself and Lord Erik you can more than compensate for such.

So, what do you say my Lord, can I be signed up? Can I come along and bring glory to Orlanth and us all? I am both an Orlanth and Lhankor Mhy member myself so I qualify on that side of things.
