Now that we have players able and eager to go on Heroquests, there is the chance of characters being resurrected via the Lightbringers Quest. Which could cause some wonderful problems for the GM. Do they get any appointments, temple or regimental ranks back? If so, what happens to anyone who has been appointed to those ranks whilst they have been dead? If married, are they still married when they return - and what if their spouse has found a new lover and/or husband or wife? If they had a duel pending, do they have to fight it? Does interest on loans continue to accumulate in the months they are dead - so could the moneylenders be waiting at the graveside?
It could make for some very amusing situations.
Back from the dead?

Death isn't the handicap it used to be in the olden days. It doesn't screw your career up like it used to. - Dave Lister

Re: Back from the dead?
A fair point.....makes you wonder if something similar could apply to characters who...just say...may have participated in Boldhome activities and then decided to take a 'break' to visit their Tribal lands BUT then got bored (absolutely definitely not chased out of their Tribal lands for some perceived misdemeanour!) and thought about coming back to Boldhome again.....would any past debts, legal issues, internal cult problems and military service requirements still be applicable...?Erik wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 11:03 pm Now that we have players able and eager to go on Heroquests, there is the chance of characters being resurrected via the Lightbringers Quest.
