Applying for Temple Positions While in the Field
Applying for Temple Positions While in the Field
Warchief Quatlu Carasilson wishes to inquire about the possibility of a devout worshipper applying for an open position in the temple hierarchy while in the field on campaign. Is it possible to legitimately submit one's name and make an application for an open temple position while on campaign? Or must you be physically present in Boldhome to submit your application? It seems to Quatlu that denying a devout worshipper the opportunity to apply for a post while in the field would serve to deny devout warriors the chance to rise in recognition while actively serving as a skilled leader of warriors in war against our enemies, the Lunar Empire. Could not such an application be submitted for consideration through a dispatch from the Front? Your humble servant awaits a response. Glory to Orlanth!

Yes, you need to be in Boldhome to ask for a cult promotion.
Promotion in a cult involves rituals and offerings and divine bonds with the deity.

Re: Applying for Temple Positions While in the Field
Can I ask, exactly when, at the end of campaign, do characters return to Boldhome? Specifically, if there is a cult vacancy at the start of Early Earth, can characters who have been on campaign for the summer apply for them?
Re: Applying for Temple Positions While in the Field
Yes, they can. You return at the end of Late Fire season.
Re: Applying for Temple Positions While in the Field
Thank you for clarifying. This all makes sense.
