It is thus with regret that I must crave a leave of absence from the front. The reason for this is that I will be 8 months with child and am thus temporarily unable to perform my duties on the field of battle.

My congratulations to yourself and Silast for your forthcoming happy event. I will most happily sign your ticket of leave, return to Boldhome and look after yourself - you can take that as an order! The 3rd Army is given Field Operations this month and riding around Tarsh hunting the last Lunar mobile forces would hardly be wise in your happy condition.
Your recent service has been exemplary, you stand as a shining example of loyalty to Boldhome and Mularik's Company. I look forward to meeting with you both once the summer campaign is concluded. In the meantime, would you be happy for Yealla to call upon you?
