To Assistant Priest Saral Fartipson,

Sir, whilst I may be new to my rank of Runelord, I feel I know decorum during religious ceremonies better than yourself. Great Orlanth may be called the Thunderer and Orlanth the Wind (amongst his many great names), but that does not require you to fart loudly (and in such a noxious smelly manner) continuously during a ceremony as you did last month. Beans, cabbages and large amounts of beer are clearly not your friend, so why did you consume all three before your duties at the temple? I call upon you to resign your position as Assistant Priest immediately and to make way for one more suited for the role. Perhaps after you have cleaned up your act (and your robes) you may once more aim to rise in the Temple Hierarchy.

Erik Stargazer
Runelord of Orlanth

(OOC: Erik calls upon Assistant Priest Saral Fartipson to resign. If a vacancy occurs Erik applies to become an Assistant Priest of Orlanth).

To the most Reverend Teganeth Venrevsdaughter ,

My lady,
If it pleases you, I ask permission to lead a ceremony in the 2nd week of Late Sea.
Praise Orlanth!

Erik Stargazer
Runelord of Orlanth

(OOC: Erik announces that he will lead a ceremony in the 2nd week of Late Sea. I assume he does not require permission to do so, but it seems only polite to clear it with the High Priestess first).

I hereby ask to be promoted to assistant rune lord of Storm Bull.

1. I apply for the postition as 1st Division Adjutant.
2. If not appointed, I apply for the position as Aide to City Ring Member Korolrai Soldason (P).

Let it also be known that I - being a member of the cult of the Storm Bull - will volunteer my command for the front.

The lowly, "He who knows his place", Torben Dungshuvler applies for the post of Regimental Adjutant of the Free Philosophers Regt.

He did apply last Season but was excluded by regulations that determine he must first be a Ten-Thane of the Regiment which did not occur until Week 1, thus, having learnt his lesson he respectfully applies again and trusts that Warlord Fionn will not think too harshly of him for his earlier 'over enthusiasm'.

Invitation: The wedding of Lt Col Rahlefson of the Royal Foot Guard to Oneldna Yankasdaughter

I am delighted to announce that I intend to wed Oneldna in Week 3 of Late Sea. I regret the short timescale between the announcement and the event, but military duties are looming for us all over the summer and who knows what fate the gods may bring us? There is no time for lengthy preparations.

I would be delighted if my esteemed mercantile colleague Runelord Erinestra Harvanasdaughter were able to perform the ceremony at the temple of Issaries in week 3

All residents of Boldhome are welcome except those who might be inclined to disturb the sanctity of the celebration with peremptory challenges to the bride or groom. {regretfully nobles of CHA <11 may not attend}

Invitation: betrothal celebration

In conjunction with the above, Grumbold and Oneldna would be delighted to see all wedding invitees at a party at The Three Suns in Week 2, carousing at our expense. {regretfully nobles of CHA <11 may not attend}

I recognise that a month brimming with military duties, cult ceremonies and court functions may prevent many from attending these events, but hope to welcome as many as possible to join us in celebrating our joyful occasion.

May one inquire, Grumbold, of the location you have chosen for the requisite wedding breakfast that is traditionally held after the wedding ceremony itself? We don't want to miss this celebration of your wedding.

The wedding breakfast is partly being arranged by the bride's family but I believe it will be at my inn, The Three Suns. I'm sure all arrangements will be in place to ensure wedding guests are escorted to the right place.

I do hope to purchase a suitable residence for my wife to reside in while I am away on campaign, but I doubt it will be fit to host guests immediately.
