The alarming news of the death of our brave companion Garoor (fortunately he recovered) has prompted me to consider the possibility that one of us may be captured this season, and to propose a Mutual Rescue Society. I do not wish to go into details on a public noticeboard (tentflaps have ears), but if you send a message to me at headquarters I will organise a rescue if you are captured, on the understanding that if not, you may be called on to take part in the rescue of another officer.

I admire your dedication and loyalty to our band of Brothers and Sisters. However, in general I would suggest offering a ransom in the first instance, and a rescue in the event that the ransom is declined.
