Titles and Appointments
Amid the preparations for the Sacred Time rituals, the Boldhome Crier announced the renaming of some titles and ranks: The noble title of Thane has been renamed Baron, and Eorl has been renamed Jarl. The rank of Subaltern has been renamed Thane.
The first new Baron will be Lt Warlord Rufus Bronzer. He is invited to the Wolf Pirate envoy reception at the Queen’s Palace week 4 in Early Sea Season, when the title will be formally bestowed. King Argrath decided not to bestow Hundre-Thane Erik with a title at this point in time.
Boldhome Military Governor Broast Tarlason (Balk) appointed Ten-Thane Heortea Salivastsdaughter (Bac) of the Candle Dancers as Captain of the King’s Homeguard.
Ten-thane Ondureen was not appointed Aide to the Amad king. Soon-to-be Baron Rufus was appointed Aide to Jarl Gis Vinothson of the Kheldon tribe.

Cults
Temple Sizes
The sizes of the cults have changed during 1630, resulting in reorganization and temple constructions. With the new year, 1631, the following changes are in effect:
Grumbold was not promoted to God-talker of Issaries, nor was Ondureen promoted to God-talker of Babeester Gor.
Rufus initiated into the cult of Orlanth.
Temple Sizes

- Chalana Arroy: minor -> major
- Ernalda: major -> great
- Eurmal: shrine -> minor

- Yelmalio: shrine -> minor

Regimental Healer Broar took out a new loan from the moneylenders.
New arrival Fionn Skene, the first child to a rich Balkoth cottar, was appointed aide to Baroness Beeth Levuethsdaughter of the Balkoth tribe. He celebrated by becoming a regular at the Red Beaver.
Ten-thane Grumbold became a regular at Fantarn’s (while Saling was kicked out!), and Rufus at The Scribbled Scroll.

Week 1
Fionn became a lay member in the cult of Lhankor Mhy.
Harold spent the week at the temple of Uleria, getting intimate companionship.
Afur brought Sod to the temple of Orlanth where he participated in the Sacred Time rituals and toadied to the High Priest, as did Rufus. Erik did the same with Yealla. as did Quatlu with Darra. Jarrek also participated in the rituals. Quatlu offered prayers of thanks to Orlanth for his beautiful and wealthy new lover and the honor she brings to him and to those close to him. He also thanked Orlanth for the promotion to God Talker.
Erik burned incense in memory of Lt.Warlord Heort. Rhosyn was a follower of Yelmalio, not Orlanth, but she also fell in the service of Boldhome, so he burned some incense for her as well. He then prayed for a new year of victory for the soldiers of Boldhome and King Argrath, and (volunarily) donated 10% of his war booty to the temple.
It was also noted that Quatlu greeted and acknowledged the elder Assistant Rune Lord that stepped down this past season. Quatlu honored him and recognized him for his service to the Great Temple in Boldhome. He made it known that while he was not selected to take the man’s place in the Great Temple’s hierarchy, he would continue to honor and respect the elder one’s loyal and faithful service to Orlanth, and learn from him in order to grow in knowledge and to better prepare for his next step in service to Orlanth.
Broar participated in the Sacred Time rituals at the Chalana Arroy hospital, toadying to the Chief High Healer.
Erinestra (with Arng) and Grumbold participated in the Sacred Time rituals at the temple of Issaries, toadying to the High Priest. Johannes was also there.
Ondureen brought Terdis to the shrine of Babeester Gor, participated in the Sacred Time rituals, showing conspicuous piety.
Julian devoted himself to cult studies at the temple of Orlanth.
