Conditional Announcement: Quatlu Carasilson will apply for appointment to the position of Rune Lord in the Great Temple of Orlanth. If that application fails, he will actively apply for promotion to the vacant post of Assistant Rune Lord. If he is successful in gaining the appointment as Rune Lord, Quatlu will withdraw his name from consideration for the Assistant Rune Lord vacancy.

Quatlu,
If you are at the front I don't think that you can apply for cult positions.
Promotion must be announced (the application itself is a pre-turn action), by a character in Boldhome, and will be granted subject to the decision of the appropriate office, for which influence may be used.
If you can, then Rufus will also be applying for a cult promotion.
I guess we need Puckohue to confirm?

Thanks Rufus,
I appreciate your comments. I wasn't sure myself after looking in the rules, so I decided that it was better to post the announcement and not need it than to not do it and miss the opportunity to advance. Hopefully our GM will comment and clear this up.

To the administrators of the Temple of Orlanth
Erik Stargazer wishes to be considered for the vacant post of Runelord. If he fails to be appointed to this noble post then he will request to be considered for the vacant posts of Assistant Runelord and Assistant Priest in that order.
Yours in the service of Orlanth
Erik Stargazer
God talker

Promotion must be announced (the application itself is a pre-turn action), by a character in Boldhome
All player characters are currently in Boldhome and can announce an application for cult promotion.
Several will, at the start of the next Turn, depart for the front. They will probably stay there the rest of the Period, and be unable to announce an application for cult promotion until they're back in Boldhome.

Fionn will continue his efforts to make Beeth a Drighten.
He will also seek to become an Initiate of Lhankor Mhy before departing for the front.
(No dieroll necessary, but it looks as if I have to announce it anyway.)
