It’s not all bad! (Overheard in the Pea Pod)

Heard in the Pea Pod …. Were stories of derringer do and heroism..as folk digested the news “ The sun blazed high in the sky, casting its golden light over the rolling plains of Tarsh As battle erupted the thundering hooves of the Cavalry Division in a heroic charge against the enemy. Our charge was swift and decisive, driving the Lunar units from the field with unmatched ferocity. However valiant in their efforts, we suffered the tragic loss as their brigadier fell to Lunar assassins!
The courageous Colymar Cavalry resplendent and proud got stuck in deadlock and sadly combat results proved inconclusive. However, Julian Sartarvutsun, fighting with his troops was recognised and (it is said,) would have been promoted had there been a vacancy. Instead he was mentioned in our battlesongs and it is said, will presented to the King for a possible title award.
May the gods bless our valiant efforts against the Lunar!”
