Questions on Raising Expertise and Charisma

As a newcomer to Boldhome, Quatlu Carasilson seeks answers to clarify two questions. First, how does one raise their Expertise? He has noted ways to increase strength, Power and weapons skills, but so far not Expertise. Second, do CPs continue to amass with each turn until they reach the threshold
needed for an increase in Charisma? At that point, is the increase in Charisma automatic?

how does one raise their Expertise?

By practising a weapon. If you're in a regiment you can practice the regimental weapon for free. Otherwise it costs Luanrs = current Expertise per week. Each week increases the weapon expertise by 0.25.

do CPs continue to amass with each turn until they reach the threshold needed for an increase in Charisma?

No. CPs are reset to zero at the start of each turn.

While I thank you for your kind offer, such a move would be somewhat counter-productive for my thus far successful military career. You never use your "general" expertise, it's just a starting value. You always use your weapon expertise.
