Just wanted to take a moment to bid you welcome to Boldhome. I do not know your ambitions or your abilities, but if you desire to set yourself upon the path of the warrior, allow me to recommend the Great Temple of Orlanth in Boldhome. Many of those with whom you will seek honor and glory are worshippers here, and we would welcome you as a lay member. This entry level status in a warrior cult will open the doors of many regiments to you, without incurring duties required of those who initiate into any cult. You will thus have some time to consider your options and seek your path without having to commit time to performing required tasks. If you wish to ask questions of some of the senior residents of Boldhome, I invite you to stop by the Pea Pod. Look for the post with the name in the title and feel free to drop in, have a tankard with some of Boldhome's finest warriors, and feel free to ask questions or advice. I know of no one to date who has gone wrong following the suggestions of the adventurers who imbibe and socialize here.

I say brother because we are both from Balmyr!

We may possibly have already met, were you by any chance a regular at the Yellow Bear Inn? As you will know it's our most famous establishment for those seeking an ale or two and the food's not bad either! Well, my family used to clean out the latrines there so you might have seen us?

Anyway, welcome to Boldhome and a GREAT BIG THANK YOU for now raising me from the bottom of the social ladder here in the City, I've been doing my best to 'rise up the rungs', so to speak but with you now appearing on the scene I've managed to climb one!!

Perhaps you'd care to join me for a drink in my Inn, the Scribbled Scroll, this coming season? May I also recommend that you approach Great Lord Erik if you are seeking employment as he has been a massive help to me and, what with his last House Keeper losing her life on a Hero Quest, he may well be looking for a new employee.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I've spent some time at that Yellow Bear, though I'm not sure I've been to the Scribbled Scroll. I will certainly speak to him about any offers of employment.
